![]() I keep forgetting how much difference a day off makes. I took one unexpectedly and found that it reminds me that everything I need to do can’t be done in a day. It reminds me that I have other interests. There’s time to imagine the what if’s and the maybe’s. I assess where I am and where I want to be. On a day off with no agenda, I can see what I really have, and what my potential is. I can finally step outside and look at the landscape on a day when it’s not raining or freezing cold, no plough or shovel in hand. I realize that I have more options than I thought. On tomorrow, I will return to work with all those options in my head... Suddenly, yesterday’s worries look small.
